Not gonna shed any tears for the guy.. came across like an arrogant prick by whining about the Lakers even after the Nugs won the title. And conversely his little hissy fit after losing to the Wolves was hilarious.

This kinda just verifies what we've all known.....the Nuggets are almost completely wasting Jokic's prime.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

I don't think it was on Malone. It's on the front office, but I'm not surprised he was collateral damage. Agree with Shill that at this point in the season, it seems pretty stupid.

Firing everyone when you are in the playoffs with 3 games to go in the season is wild.

Grizzlies and Nuggets now this late in the season. Kinda wild.

Nuggets should get Jenkins. He's a helluva coach.

Joker is getting 91/33/21 on ELITE shooting from his teammates... the core of whom he won a Championship with just 2 years ago.

No one is 'wasting' his prime. The Nuggets' problem is Defense, or a lack thereof... which comes down to attitude and effort, not skill. Perhaps Joker, as the leader, should step-up his game on that end of the floor (and inspire his teammates accordingly) instead of worrying about padding his Offensive stats.

The Nuggets are below-average defensively (22nd to-date, Jokic has graded in the vicinity of average in his recent years, this year he's slightly positive), and almost all their offense success is directly attributable to Jokic.

It's certainly true Jokic isn't single-handedly raising the defense like he does offense, but there is basically no umph from anyone on that team in any sense. Even in the lean years of Lebron+Cavs and Kobe+Lakers, their teammates actually defended reasonably well (sometimes very well) and contributed on that side of the court, even if they were a mess offensively. Jordan's teammates were reasonably solid offensively and very good defensively of course (all-time level supporting cast).

Nuggets are almost -8 per 100 possessions without Jokic this year, which is abysmal. For reference, that's approximately halfway between the pace of 76ers and Hornets this year.

lol, LeBron constantly needs more help. Can’t win with Doncic so let’s add Joker next. He needs to be carried some more

On my drive to the gym today, I had it on NBA radio. Justin Termine stated that Joker is on his fourth season of being plus 20 in impact on floor vs off floor per 100 possessions. Apparently, that has never been done ever before. He didn't give the source and I can't vouch for it, but regardless, his impact is ridiculous.

...and the HILARIOUS thing about it is they likely wouldn't even win a Championship (with Luka and Joker) because LeEgomaniac would find some way to sabotage the team for sure... see: 2010, 2011, 2022, and many more I'm surely forgetting.
