I'm not even sure I like it all that much for LA either, at least in the immediate short-term.

If the Lakers can get real assets back for LeBron it would be an all-time pivot. If not and LeBron just retires or leaves, still a good pivot and the Lakers are still positioned well to pair a second star with Luka.

If Luka sticks around this is objectively a great move for the Lakers, Luka is 25 and AD is 31. It's that simple, and Luka is the better player, too.
