WTH are they thinking, Luka and LeFraud on the same court together with no Big Man presence (for inside-outside balance on Offense), and zero Defense?? That's a recipe for disaster... hell the Lakers might set the all-time record for most PPG Allowed in a season, now that Davis is gone.

Meanwhile the Mavs picked up (arguably) the best two-way player in the game who is still in his prime, and who will compliment Kyrie, Klay, etc. perfectly.

Bron is close to done. Building around an aging AD just doesn’t have long-term legs, no matter how well he’s been playing recently.

Bottom line: The Lakers decided to build around a dominating 1-way perimeter player in his prime (on a team with zero Defense, now that Davis is gone), rather than build around a dominating 2-way Big who is still in his prime.
