I say we still got this. I ain’t even buggin. Game 5 will be a 20 pt shalackin as we get our normal rotation back into swing.
Minnesota will simply not have the poise or maturity to close the series out, Lakers in 7.

Nah keep both and get a center next season, 2026 finals and ring.kobeunderbite wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 2:38 am It's over, and there's nothing wrong with that. The window isn't closing, with Luka it is now just opening. The time has come to auction off LeBron and build around Luka.

After next season his contract is over and he’s on the verge of retiring anyway.. what exactly do you think we could even get for him?kobeunderbite wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 10:25 amOdogg wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 10:15 amNah keep both and get a center next season, 2026 finals and ring.kobeunderbite wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 2:38 am It's over, and there's nothing wrong with that. The Lakers are fighting a losing battle with LeBron. As good as he has been, one of these days the body will go and he will be finished, and it will happen suddenly. The best long-term move would be trading him for something good before it's too late. I'm worrying about 2026-2035, not just 2026.

Besides.. he has a No Trade Clause so it’s a moot point.
You couldn't get a pair of dirty socks for LeFraud, not unless he was willing to play for the minimum pay allowed... THEN, maybe, you could get a pair of dirty socks in return.kobeunderbite wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 10:25 amOdogg wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 10:15 amNah keep both and get a center next season, 2026 finals and ring.kobeunderbite wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 2:38 am It's over, and there's nothing wrong with that. We’ll have something like $100m in cap space once LeGOAT is off the books next season. Obviously wasting another year of Luka’s prime isn’t ideal, but I think next season we just gotta cross our fingers and hope Pelinka makes some decent trades to help add some depth, or at least get us a half assed competent big man that can protect the rim and catch a few lobs. After that we can go guns blazing for another superstar to pair with Luka.. maybe someone like Giannis or even Jokic, as I imagine both are gonna lose this postseason and want out.kobeunderbite wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 11:21 amLNS wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 10:45 amAfter next season his contract is over and he’s on the verge of retiring anyway.. what exactly do you think we could even get for him?kobeunderbite wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 10:25 am

At least one 1st, maybe two. And I'm talking about working with LeBron to find the right trade, not pulling a Nico on him.
1-2 FIRST ROUND picks for (what will be) a 41-year old empty-stat padder who disappears when the team needs him most AND makes $50-million a year????kobeunderbite wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 11:21 amLNS wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 10:45 amAfter next season his contract is over and he’s on the verge of retiring anyway.. what exactly do you think we could even get for him?kobeunderbite wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 10:25 am
