There's still people that somehow think Dallas could be the winner of this trade? They're banking on 32 year old Anthony "Mr. Glass" Davis and Kyrie "Flat Earther" Irving to be elite?

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

Last time a born and bred American white boy was drafted #1 was Kent Benson in 1977.CleveTown™ wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 9:00 am this dude is a white American player and going to go #1 overall?

This looks bad but how many scenarios would we consider it rigged. Obviously the only scenario where it would not have been rigged if the 6ers got the 1st.

The draft wasn't rigged. People have too much time on their hands to speculate about silly shit.

I hope he has a great rookie season. The league is desperate for the male equivalent of Caitlin Clark. Most of the best players are not American and that has hurt the league's popularity more than anything else. A bona fide American white boy star will pump a lot of interest in the league, and some of the retards who say the current league is soft and not as good as prior eras will be exposed as the retards that they are.

typical Boomer logic thinking like it's still the 1950's where you could leave your car and house doors unlocked and nobody would break in and steal. get with the times old man_Vcsgrizzfan_ wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 11:31 am The draft wasn't rigged. I said this on RealGM too, but for the conspiracy people, I'd be interested in hearing the nuts-and-bolts of how the conspiracy happened. But from nuts/bolts, operationally, tangibles, etc...especially E&Y's role.
Ernst & Young have an annual revenue of 50 billion dollars (>4xing the NBA). What would the motivation be for them to conspire and commit this type of fraud?

Re: So where is Cooper Flagg gonna end up?
The most obvious monkey wrench in the conspiracy theory is that the Mavs record before trading Luka was 26-23.. they went 13-20 afterwards due to a combination of AD and Kyrie getting hurt, which is the only way they even had that 1.8% chance at the #1 pick. So if the conspiracy was to get them the #1 pick as compensation for trading Luka.. then how the hell did they also arrange for AD and Kyrie to get hurt?Bush4Ever. wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 12:54 pm I said this on RealGM too, but for the conspiracy people, I'd be interested in hearing the nuts-and-bolts of how the conspiracy happened. While it definitely looks bad and does seriously look rigged...why does the NBA care about getting Dallas a potential star? Why would they care about saving Nico?Bush4Ever. wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 12:54 pm I said this on RealGM too, but for the conspiracy people, I'd be interested in hearing the nuts-and-bolts of how the conspiracy happened.
