My kid threw a hammer at the TV and broke it

We were roughhousing, what he threw was not a real hammer mind you, just a toy. The TV was off and the screen didn't shatter but I knew it would be fucked when I turned it on and it was.

Had that TV for 6 years and thought it could have made 10 easily but oh well. Thinking about going to 75 inches now but 65 is probably better for the viewing distance.

I was triggered for like 3 seconds but I'm a sucker for my kids so I got over it quickly, it was an accident after all

I told him he's not watching anything until we get a new one and I'm not in a rush to replace it tbh, it'll probably be a few weeks. He doesn't get much screen time to begin with but now he's got nothing
